- Ben Morton is Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister, replacing Steve Irons

- Trevor Evans becomes Assistant Minister for Waste Reduction and Environmental Management

- Jason Wood becomes Assistant Minister for Customs, Community Safety and Multicultural Affairs

- Senator Jonathon Duniam becomes Assistant Minister for Forestry, Fisheries and Regional Tourism, replacing Senator Richard Colbeck

- Alex Hawke moves from Special Minister of State to become Minister for International Development and the Pacific and Assistant Minister for Defence
