Drug addiction 'has me by the balls': Miller
Former Olympic swimmer Scott Miller has broken his 13-year silence and revealed his drug addiction to ice has "got me by the balls".
Miller is set to open up on his drug abuse, recent arrests and his failed marriage to television host Charlotte Dawson in a candid interview with Nine's 60 Minutes tonight.
The 1996 Atlanta silver and bronze medallist was charged with drug possession last year after he was arrested at Kings Cross with 7.75grams of ice.
60 Minutes is set to reveal the police footage of his arrest after a judge handed him a 12-month suspended jail sentence last month.
The swimmer also admits he is currently dealing with an ice addiction.
"That's what my addiction is at the moment. At the present time that's what's got me by the balls," Miller said.
Miller reveals he was hooked on ecstasy and cocaine whilst on the Sydney party scene.
"It depends which crowd you're with, the nightclub crowd or the dinner party crowd. I enjoyed both crowds," he said.
The swimmer will also address the speculation that his marriage to Australia's Next Top Model host Charlotte Dawson in the 1990s ended because he was caught on tape doing drugs and having sex with another woman.
"I've never seen the tape. I'm not saying the drugs didn't get snorted but there was no sex in any toilet," Miller told interviewer Tara Brown.
"The tape is of me walking into the toilet. I snorted drugs yeah, didn't have sex."
Miller's entire interview will air on Nine's Sixty Minutes tonight at 7.40pm.
