Police are appealing for witnesses after a schoolboy was allegedly sexually assaulted by a man on a Melbourne train.
The 17-year-old yelled out and pushed the man away after the assault, which happened as he was standing on a city-bound Alamein train travelling between Hawthorn and Burnley stations on the morning of May 24.
Police say the man was thought to be in his 60s and was wearing a charcoal grey suit and carrying a brown satchel bag.
