Schapelle Corby posts video as she celebrates her 40th birthday in freedom
Schapelle Corby has marked her 40th birthday as a free woman by sharing a special tune to her followers on Instagram.
Corby posted the video from Queensland this morning with the caption “mucking around on the sunny day”.
“I’m in Queensland, and it is sunny. I have the palm trees behind me,” she crooned.
More than 30,000 people have viewed the video, with many wishing Corby a “Happy Birthday” in the comments section.
It is the first year since 2004 that Corby has celebrated her birthday a free woman on the Gold Coast, after being convicted of smuggling cannabis into Indonesia.
Corby launched her Instagram account shortly after returning to a Australia from Kerobokan Prison on May 27.
She regularly uses the social media app to post candid snaps and videos to her 200,000 followers.
