T-minus 5 days . The countdown to Schapelle Corby's takeoff from Bali is on.

More than 12 years after she was arrested carrying a body bag full of marijuana, Corby is preparing the leave the dingy villa she has shared with her former brother in law Wayan for nearly three years

On Saturday, she'll be a prisoner no more, and will be easing back in her business class seat as she waves goodbye to Bali for the last time. 

Prison, parole and immigration officials met today trying to nut out the process to get her from her villa to the airport and at the same satisfy all the red tape Indonesia specialises in.

Corby seems one step ahead of them all. She has already booked a seat with her sister Mercedes. Travelling with them celebrity bodyguard John McLeod, who counts Roger Federer and Lady Gaga as two of his many high profile clients.

Arriving in Brisbane on Sunday morning, Corby will be glad at last to be on Australia soil. The officials charged with deporting her will be just as pleased.
