Sam Burgess's final game for the Rabbitohs to go down in rugby league history
If Sunday night’s grand final is Sam Burgess’s last game of rugby league, it will be remembered as one of the greatest farewells we’ve ever seen.
Badly hurt in the opening seconds, the 25-year-old didn’t think about quitting before producing a man-of-the-match performance which inspired his team to victory.
At this level, no player is without courage; there’s nowhere to hide.

Burgess simply took courage up a notch, like John Sattler – watching in the stands - did all those years ago.
