An Adelaide woman has pleaded not guilty to killing another woman in a shopping centre car park crash but has admitted to driving without due care.

Katrina Maree Siciliano, 46, is charged with causing the death of 62-year-old Diane Hoskin in the car park of Tea Tree Plaza shopping centre at suburban Modbury in October 2015.

She faced the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to the cause death charge but guilty to the lesser charge of driving without due care.

Prosecutors say Siciliano lurched over a concrete barrier in the car park and hit Ms Hoskin who was on foot and died at the scene, only three weeks before her daughter Caroline's wedding.

Siciliano will be arraigned in the District Court on April 21.
