Woman charged over SA man's murder

A woman has been charged with murder over the stabbing death of a man in Port Augusta, in South Australia's mid-north.

Police and ambulance crews were called to a property late on Wednesday night following reports of a man with serious stab wounds.

The 35-year-old was treated at the scene but died soon after arriving at the Port Augusta Hospital.

A 34-year-old woman, known to the victim, was arrested at the property and was charged with murder.

She was expected to appear in the Port Augusta Magistrates Court on Thursday.
