WA cyclist dies after being found on road

A Western Australia cyclist has died a day after he was found lying on the road with a critical head injury.

Bystanders found the man in his 30s lying on the road near his bike at the intersection of Buckingham Rd and Marmion St, near Perth around 2am on Saturday.

The bystanders performed CPR until paramedics arrived and took over.

WA Police said the man died in hospital on Sunday.

The incident is being investigated and Major Crash are asking for anyone with information or dash cam footage to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
