Van torched after Adelaide hit-and-run

A van involved in a hit-and-run crash in Adelaide has been found torched in the city's south.

A pedestrian was left with serious injuries after the crash at suburban Norwood on Sunday evening. Reports to police suggest the injured man clashed with two people in the van moments before he was struck.

Police say the van, which had stolen numberplates, was found burnt out on River Road at Port Noarlunga and is now being forensically tested.
