Ute crashes into SA couple's home

It was a rude awakening early on Christmas Day when an out-of-control ute crashed into a Barossa Valley couple's home.

Just after 1am the ute was travelling on the steep Breakneck Hill Road in Angaston when the male driver lost control, careered through a paddock and crashed into the couple's house, police say.

The home was extensively damaged but the householders, in their 50s, were uninjured.
