Two-thirds of SA businesses 'pessimistic'

More than two-thirds of South Australian businesses expect the state economy to deteriorate over the next 12 months.

A Business SA survey reveals only about seven per cent of businesses expect any economic growth, while 67.1 per cent anticipate a continued decline due to poor business conditions and weakening profitability.

Confidence fell by 5.1 index points to 83.2 points in the June quarter, Business SA says.
