Total fire bans are in place for two regions in SA today. (9NEWS)
A total fire ban has been declared for the Mount Lofty Ranges and Lower South east regions of South Australia.
The bans will remain in force until midnight.

Strong northwesterly winds are forecast for Thursday ahead of a cool southwesterly change.
