Three charged over $2m SA property fraud

Three people have been arrested following an Adelaide property scheme that allegedly defrauded a Chinese national millions of dollars.

Police will allege the man from Shanghai was defrauded $2 million in a property scheme conducted in Adelaide.

A 24-year-old man was arrested on Monday and charged with 25 counts of deception, exploiting a position for benefit and dishonestly dealing with documents.

He was refused bail and is set to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Two others, a 59-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman, were arrested on Saturday and charged with eleven counts of deception and three counts of dishonestly dealing with documents.

They were granted bail and are scheduled to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on November 23.
