Teens charged over Adelaide cat door theft

A teenager has allegedly used the tight space of a cat door to break into an Adelaide home.

The 16-year-old fled the Northfield home with a stolen purse after he was spotted by an occupant early on Tuesday morning, police say.

Police believe he entered the home by removing a cat flap on the back door.

The teen and two other 16-year-olds from Northfield, a boy and a girl, have been charged with serious criminal trespass and theft after police caught them using a credit card from the stolen purse at a nearby service station.
