Teen thieves caught after Adelaide chase

Three teenagers are in custody and others may still be at large after allegedly breaking into several cars in Adelaide and leading police on a chase.

Four cars were broken into in Beaumont early on Friday, with one home-owner seeing three boys running from his driveway into a car.

Police say they pursued the car, which had been stolen on Thursday, until it crashed into another on the outskirts of the CBD then caught a 16-year-old, 15-year-old and 14-year-old who fled on foot.

The three boys have been charged and police believe another two young people may have been involved.
