Man charged while another fights for life after alleged pub assault
A man has been arrested while another fights for his life in hospital after an alleged assault at a hotel in Adelaide's north-west.
Police were called to the Peninsula Hotel on Victoria Road in Taperoo after midnight today over reports a man had been punched in the head.
A 35-year-old man from Panorama had been knocked unconscious inside the gaming room and was rushed to hospital with serious life-threatening injuries.

The victim remained in hospital in a critical condition tonight.
Police investigating the incident arrested a 29-year-old man from Exeter.
He was charged with serious assault causing harm and refused bail to face court on Monday.
