Suspicious SA house fire causes explosion

A fire that caused an abandoned Adelaide home to explode is thought to have been deliberately lit.

The explosion was reported in the burning house in Underdale in Adelaide's south late on Tuesday night, police say.

The house, which had been vacant for several years and had no power or gas, was destroyed.
