A dog locked in a small Adelaide toilet block in extreme temperatures is lucky to be alive.
The dog, nicknamed Lucky by rescuers, was found at a Hectorville unit block on Sunday in a room without ventilation or water despite the temperature peaking at 36C.
A 47-year-old man and woman, both from Hectorville, have been reported for ill-treatment of an animal and will be summonsed to appear at the Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
