Stolen car crashes into SA police car

A stolen car crashed into a police car in Adelaide during a chase before taking off and later colliding with the same car again.

About $10,000 damage was caused to the police car, which chased the Mazda through the back streets in the north eastern suburbs early on Tuesday after it was stolen following a house break-in.

Police say the 47-year-old driver was arrested after the second crash.

He's been charged with numerous offences including aggravated serious criminal trespass and driving to endanger life and will appear in the Holden Hill Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
