Salmon feeding frenzy captured off South Australian coast

A salmon feeding frenzy has been captured by a drone at Kingston, off the South Australian coast.

Photographer Leah Bailey shared the drone footage on social media after the special sighting at the weekend.

"Something a little different to the usual post, but I couldn't not share this with you all," she captioned the post.

"A bit of drone action captured the amazing display the salmon put on for us over the weekend."

While the footage is spectacular, it may not be a particularly rare sight.

Salmon are often found in abundance in Australia's cooler southern waters, according to many fishing websites.
