Former SA magistrate jailed over corruption offences
A former South Australian magistrate has been jailed for at least 12 months over corruption charges.
Bob Harrap was investigated by the state's anti-corruption task force after pressuring two women to take fault for his speeding offences.

Harrap, who was a magistrate for more than a decade, was concerned the demerit points from the driving offences would cause him to lose his licence.
The court found evidence Harrap had harassed and bullied the women into saying they were behind the wheel of his government-issued car.
Judge Paul Slattery said Harrap's actions undermined the public's trust in the court system.

"It strikes at the very foundation of public confidence in the administration of justice," Judge Slattery said.
The 61-year-old was sentenced to 18 months' jail with a non-parole period of 12 months.
