Boy, 13, charged for allegedly possessing extremist material in SA
A 13-year-old boy has been charged for allegedly possessing extremist material in South Australia.
Police said the teenager was arrested today.
He faced Adelaide Youth Court via videolink this afternoon.

His mother picked him up from the Christies Beach police station, where he had been since his arrest.
He will return home to his parents' house at Port Noarlunga.
It's alleged he possessed extremist material on his personal computer. The nature of the material has not been revealed.
Police seized the computer and say it will take weeks to go through all of the evidence.
They expressed concern for the boy who lives with autism and they fear he will be easily influenced, revealing even his parents didn't understand the seriousness of his alleged offending.
The magistrate approved bail, given the boy's age and no criminal history, but with strict conditions.
The teenager must declare any electronic devices to youth justice and provide his passwords.
He will return to court next week for the conditions to be reviewed.
