Snow forecast for SA

Snow is forecast for parts of South Australia for the second time in a month as a vigorous cold front sweeps through the state.

Snow flurries are possible in the Adelaide Hills as well as parts of the Flinders Ranges and in the state's mid-north from late on Tuesday, the Bureau of Meteorology says.

The forecast comes after similar areas received a light dusting of snow in July.
