Severe fire danger in parts of SA

Total fire bans are in place in South Australia's Mount Lofty Ranges and Murraylands districts.

Severe fire danger has been forecast for both districts, with very hazardous fire weather conditions predicted.

Total fire bans will remain in place until midnight on Saturday.

The Country Fire Service says residents should prepare to implement their bushfire survival plans.
