Seven-year-old dies in NT car crash

A seven-year-old boy has died in a car crash in the Northern Territory.

Seven people were in the four-wheel drive when it crashed near Numbulwar, on the Gulf of Carpentaria, on Sunday night, police say.

The boy died at the scene and three others were airlifted to hospital in Darwin with non-life threatening injuries.
