Savings possible on electricity in SA

South Australians can save up to $400 a year by shopping around for a better electricity deal, a new report has found.

The Australian Energy Market Commission on Tuesday released its yearly assessment on the state of competition in retail energy markets.

This report shows that deregulation is clearly working and delivering savings for South Australians, Energy Minister Tom Koutsantonis said.
