SA woman injured in fight over cannabis

A woman has sustained facial injuries in a fight over a cannabis plant at her home in Adelaide.

She scuffled with a man who broke into her Sheidow Park home to steal the drug early on Wednesday, police say.

The suspect, who knew the victim, left empty-handed while the woman was fined for cannabis possession and treated for minor injuries at the Flinders Medical Centre.
