SA woman, 93, dies in road crash

A 93-year-old woman has died in a crash involving a truck and a car at Royal Park in Adelaide.

The Woodville West woman, a passenger in the car, died at the scene on Thursday morning while the elderly male driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police say the truck driver, a 24-year-old Woodville South man, will be issued a summons to appear in court at a later date, accused of aggravated careless driving.

The death takes to 15 the state's interim road toll, which was 11 at the same time last year.
