AAP
The South Australian government will provide $45,000 to help fund scholarships for postgraduate research students from Singapore to study at the University of Adelaide.
The program will honour Singapore President Tony Tan and will initially run for three years.
Premier Jay Weatherill says it will focus on students beginning postgraduate research in either science or maths.

It recognises Mr Tan's background as a PhD student in mathematics at the University of Adelaide, Mr Weatherill said on Monday during a trip to Singapore.
The University of Adelaide will also waive tuition fees for the successful applicants.
