SA teen charged with assault, drink-drive

A teenager has been accused of drunkenly assaulting a female while behind the wheel of a car in the Adelaide Hills.
The victim suffered minor injuries after the 19-year-old man assaulted her while driving at more than twice the blood-alcohol limit at Hahndorf early on Wednesday, police say.
He was issued with an interim intervention order and refused bail to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court the same day charged with aggravated assault, driving without a licence and exceeding the prescribed concentration of alcohol.
