SA race car driver critical after crash

A man is in a critical condition after crashing his race car at the Lake Gairdner speedway in the far north of South Australia.
The Broken Hill man was airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital after crashing the car at 5.30pm on Tuesday.
Major Crash Investigators are flying to Lake Gairdner, about 150km north west of Port Augusta.
