SA police nab would-be house robber

A man has been charged after he tried to break into a home before leading police on a brief pursuit in South Australia.

The 48-year-old, of no fixed address, was arrested when the car he was driving hit a tree in Mylor on Wednesday.

The man was taken to hospital with minor injuries and charged with numerous offences including attempted serious criminal trespass and engaging in a police pursuit.

He has been refused bail and will appear in the Mt Barker Magistrates Court on Thursday.
