SA pizza shop employee attacked with pole

A pizza shop employee has been hit over the head with a pole during an attempted robbery in Adelaide.

The man was walking outside the Black Forest shop, in the southwestern suburbs, when another man attacked him and demanded his wallet on Wednesday night, police say.

The victim suffered minor injuries and his attacker ran off.
