SA parolee arrested after routine car stop

A passenger who fled police after a routine car stop left his identification behind leading to his arrest as a wanted parolee.
Police randomly stopped a car at Andrews Farm in Adelaide just after 3am on Friday.
A passenger ran away but left his identification behind. He was later caught in a nearby yard.

Police say the 24-year-old, of no fixed address, was allegedly in possession of a knife, and checks revealed he was the subject of a parole board warrant.
He will appear in Elizabeth magistrates court on Friday.
