SA official charged after ICAC probe

A 44-year-old former public officer has been charged with making a false declaration after an investigation by South Australia's corruption watchdog.

Independent Commissioner Against Corruption Bruce Lander says a report to the Office of Public Integrity raised a potential matter of corruption and led to a brief of evidence being provided to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The man has subsequently been charged with his offending alleged to have occurred on December 13, 2013.

He will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Thursday.
