An Adelaide man accused of killing a fellow boarding house resident kicked and stomped the older man with such force it fractured his jaw, a court has heard.
Luke Robert John Ford, 29, has pleaded not guilty to murdering 53-year-old Robert Fitzsimmons at the Carrington Street boarding house in October 2014.
Opening Ford's trial before Justice Malcolm Blue in the SA Supreme Court, prosecutor Mark Norman said a witness who was drinking with the men would give evidence that the attack was unprovoked.
