SA man rescued after boat mishap

A man has been rescued from a cliff in South Australia after he became stranded in an attempt to land his boat during bad weather.

A passer-by alerted police to the man, who became stuck on the cliff near Myponga, south of Adelaide, on Wednesday afternoon.

The man was uninjured and winched to safety.
