SA man crashes car into cop station

A man has crashed his car into an Adelaide police station.

The 35-year-old drove his car through the glass doors of the Sturt station in the southern suburbs early on Wednesday, police say.

He was uninjured and detained under the Mental Health Act at Flinders Medical Centre.

The station is still structurally sound and will remain operational but police say people should go to other stations with non-urgent matters.
