SA man caught with axe, knives in car

An axe, knives and drugs have been found in a car following a police chase in Adelaide.

A 43-year-old man was arrested when weapons, tools used for break-ins and cannabis were allegedly found in his car in Adelaide's northern suburbs early on Tuesday morning.

He has been refused bail to appear in Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with offences including carrying an offensive weapon.
