SA man caught carrying a kilo of cannabis

A man has allegedly been caught carrying nearly one kilogram of cannabis in ziplock sandwich bags at an Adelaide train station.

The 36-year-old from Auburn, in South Australia's mid-north, was arrested at the Adelaide Railway Station after police officers smelled the drug and searched him on Monday night.

Police say they found more cannabis and equipment in the man's home and he was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on May 20, charged with the possession of a controlled drug for sale.
