SA man bashed by five in own home

A man has serious head injuries after being beaten by a group of five men at his Adelaide home.

The men arrived in two cars at Craigmore at 12:30pm on Thursday and assaulted the 29-year-old victim in a targeted attack, police say.

The victim had to be transferred from Lyell McEwin Hospital to Royal Adelaide Hospital but his injuries are not life threatening.

The suspects fled the house in the cars.
