SA man allegedly assaults ex at shelter

A man has been accused of stalking and assaulting his ex-girlfriend at a domestic violence shelter in South Australia.
The 44-year-old Whyalla man assaulted his ex after following her to a women's shelter in Port Augusta, in SA's mid-north, early on Friday morning, police allege.
The man was refused bail to appear in Whyalla Magistrates Court on Friday charged with aggravated assault and breaching an intervention order.
