SA looks to boost Adelaide's north

A plan to boost economic growth in Adelaide's north will be outlined to local business leaders to encourage their participation.

South Australian Automotive Transformation Minister Kyam Maher is hosting Wednesday's event and says a strong northern region is vital to the state's ongoing prosperity.

Mr Maher says the plan provides a roadmap to stimulate job creation, upskill workers and diversify the local economy as the region prepares for the closure of the Holden assembly plant in 2017.
