SA lawyers to offer free check-ups
Lawyers from South Australia's Legal Services Commission will offer Adelaide rail commuters a free legal check-up.
The lawyers will head for the Adelaide Railway Station on Thursday morning to offer free advice on a range of issues including neighbourhood disputes, family and property disputes, custody matters, domestic violence and workplace problems.
"Our physical health is very important, but so too is legal health," commission director Gabrielle Canny said.
"The legal health check-up is similar to the check-ups we have with doctors and dentists.
"They often identify background problems before they flare up into major difficulties."
Ms Canny said following the check-up, the commission's lawyers could refer clients to the service that best suited their needs.
