SA Islamic college to remain open

An Islamic school in South Australia will continue to receive federal funding after satisfying concerns about its financial management.

Federal Education Minister Simon Birmingham says the funding to the Islamic College of SA is subject to compliance with additional reporting demands.

The school's chair, Miriam Silva, says the school is pleased and grateful to receive the funding which will allow it to continue operating.
