SA Greens want support for gay marriage

The Greens want South Australian MPs to back a free vote on same sex marriage in the federal parliament.

Greens MP Tammy Franks will move a motion in the SA parliament calling on the state Labor government and the SA Liberal opposition to support a free vote in Canberra.

"This motion will call on both the state government and the opposition to signal their support for equal love in Australia," Ms Franks said.
