A South Australian food processing company has secured a major deal to distribute its products in 150 cities across China.

Beston Global Food Company will supply the Dashang retail group with dairy, meat, seafood and health foods.

"Our two companies share a common objective of taking lean, green and safe products from high-quality producers in Australia into the discerning consumer markets in China," Beston chairman Roger Sexton said in a statement on Wednesday.

The company also expects to raise $130 million when it floats on the Australian share market later this month.

In June Beston bought out failed United Dairy Power plants in Murray Bridge and Jervois, in the SA's south-east.

The company plans to reopen them in September in a bid to lift milk processing to 200 million litres a year by 2018, predominantly for Asian markets.
