SA drivers test positive for drugs

A series of drivers has been caught with drugs in their system around school zones in Adelaide, including some who had just dropped children at school, causing concern for police.

A number of people tested positive to drugs earlier this week and police have detected another four on Friday for either cannabis or methamphetamines.

Two of those drivers had just dropped children off at school and Inspector Steve Kameniar says that's a concern given the impact drugs can have on a driver's coordination, reactions and judgement.
