SA driver charged with attempted murder

A man has been charged with attempted murder after two pedestrians were knocked over by a car in Adelaide.

A 56-year-old man remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition, while a 36-year-old man suffered minor injuries after being hit by the car in Christie Downs on Wednesday.

The 46-year-old suspect was arrested at the scene and will face a bedside court hearing on Thursday charged with two counts of attempted murder.
